I'm trying to adjust the shifter so I can hear and feel a click between park and reverse, ect.. I adjusted the TV cable all the way out and I thought it was working, but I was wrong. Neutral switch for a 1986 5.0 Cougar Reply #5 – November 14, 2012, 06:54:47 PM I finally found a wrench that worked on my switch. I took it out and it has good continuity when the switch is depressed. It was only about 100ea. 1/8 turns to take it off, so it wasn't as bad as I had thought it would be (lol). Guess I'll be putting it back in tomorrow after I clean it up real good. Now I need to still figure out where that puff of smoke came from. Quote Selected
