Nice parts car Reply #1 – November 04, 2012, 06:07:58 PM You say parts car I say easy fix for a relatively clean car other than the damage. Quote Selected
Nice parts car Reply #2 – November 04, 2012, 07:46:18 PM It is very clean but it most likely has frame damage and it would make my 3.8 live as a 5.0 Quote Selected
Nice parts car Reply #3 – November 04, 2012, 11:01:10 PM Actually with my experience with these cars and how the pics look my guess would be that the apr0n is bent. Which is what pen 15ed the battery like that and possibly the bumper struts are damaged. Ive wrecked a couple birds in my life so far, 2 worse than that and no frame damage, just core support and apr0n damage. Besides EFI 5.0's are a dime a dozen unlike clean Tbirds. I actually know of a motor my buddy has 5.0 HO just sitting in his shed waiting for some one to use it. Quote Selected
Nice parts car Reply #4 – November 05, 2012, 12:32:59 AM Yeah my bird was wrecked in 89' and sat in a garage since about 2006.It washiznit the same place just not as bad, i'll see I questioned him on the car hopefully I'll get a response. Quote Selected
Nice parts car Reply #5 – November 05, 2012, 05:54:59 AM Assuming that there is little to no body rot, she is definitely worth at least $800. I would offer $1000 (asking), if the owner agreed to cover costs over and above $500 to straighten the front end substructure. Not the surface sheet metal, header panel, etc. She appears to be a clean Sport, worthy of being saved. Quote Selected
Nice parts car Reply #6 – November 05, 2012, 12:44:50 PM Seems like an easy fix, especially with no rust. Quote Selected
Nice parts car Reply #7 – November 05, 2012, 05:03:11 PM I think i'll be going to check it out this weekend, says he doesnt want to go lower but will if i can take it asap. From the area I think he's probably getting problems from the city for having a wrecked car in his driveway. Quote Selected
Nice parts car Reply #8 – November 05, 2012, 06:43:45 PM Well body damage is easier to fix than rust :). Quote Selected
Nice parts car Reply #9 – November 05, 2012, 08:32:12 PM Looks way to nice for a parts car....... Those seats make me drool! Quote Selected
Nice parts car Reply #10 – November 06, 2012, 03:39:17 PM Yes Damage looked worse the first time I saw it, thought it may have been also rear ended since the trunk was popped(was looking at it from my phone). If I can se the money up for a tow truck,I may have another tbird lol. Although I could probably drive it with the tires inflated/battery charged. Quote Selected
Nice parts car Reply #11 – November 06, 2012, 05:14:52 PM I don't see anything that makes me think it has been rear ended, feel fairly confident that the trunk lid is just open. Quote Selected
