Father's day gift a bit early...

Check out the new tires and wheels. My wife asked to drive the car to work Tuesday and came home with these... :D  :D

Very nice! What type of rims are they and what size?
88 Thunderbird LX: 306, Edelbrock Performer heads, Comp 266HR cam, Edelbrock Performer RPM intake, bunch of other stuff.

Thanks guys...I really like them. Maybe I'm doing something right  :D  :D  :giggle:

They are American Racing Outlaw II, I think she said. Front tires are (EDIT:) 205x70's and rear are 245x60's. Not a bad fit together. Not what I was planning, exactly, but I won't complain.

I really like the Outlaws. I'm leaning towards sort of an 80's retro look with the car (something I would have driven as a teen), and they really fit that time frame. They were fairly inexpensive also. Today's wheels are much more detailed than anything we had to choose from 18-20 years ago. The set I just took off the car cost over $1500 new and were top of the line, but don't compare to the top of the line today.
