correct clutch cable route June 08, 2005, 03:19:42 PM ook, if you all remember about 3 weeks ago or so I had to do a new clutch cable. Well I was under there looking to make shure everything was okay and nothing was wrong... Well apparently I ran the clutch cable along the wrong route to the transmition, and it is starting to wear the rubber away cuz it is slightly touching the stearing colomn. Can somebody with the same setup (not the hydrolic) show me some pictures of the route it is supposed to go? I see a few possible routes, but I want it in the right one... I believe that 84-86 is the same also... thanks for everything....Frank M. Quote Selected

Re: correct clutch cable route Reply #2 – June 08, 2005, 11:12:29 PM Well, I'm fighting a cold and feeling like shiznit, but I went out to see how mine was run.It comes out of the firewall and runs forward, kind of near the brake mastercylinder. Then it loops back and actually passes through the K-member just below the motor mount frmo the front. Then it continues onto the bell-housing. Quote Selected
