Fuel filter

1. To get rid of the pressure in the lines, cover the schrader valve on the fuel rail with a rag and press in on the center with a small screwdriver or something. Fuel may spray out when you do this depending on how well you cover the valve. Wear eye protection. Also, there will still be fuel in the filter and lines so be prepared for it to pour out when you remove the lines from the filter.
2. You shouldn't need anything else. The new filter will probably have the new plastic clips for the fuel lines in because the old ones might be brittle and break when you try to take them off.
3. The system will pressurize when the fuel pump primes before starting the car the next time. I usually cycle the key a couple of times just to be sure.
