Old Message Board

What happened to the old ezboard site?  I can access any of the old threads.  There was some great stuff sitting there.  I can still login with my user name from 2 years ago but the threads are gone.  I tried it at work and at home and it made no difference.  Did it get shut down completely from lack of use?  I did a search but didn't see a topic on what happened.

Maybe there's some kinda time limit on displaying them? *shrug*

I vaguely recall not being able to see any threads last time I was there.. but I also vaguely recall beer being involved..

I would guess that it's a glitch with Sleazyboard, hopefully temporary. I just logged in and it showed that there were some relatively new threads, and that there were several pages of threads in each topic, but when I entered the topic nothing was there. I would think that if anything were deleted it would've shown no new threads and no pages.

Wow that really sucks.  MasterBlaster, if ezboard cant fix the old one do you think you could make your copies available somehow?

All 70MB of them?
That would take about 6-7 hours to upload on dial-up.

I've been trying (sort of) to whip up a combination of homemade programs to automatically convert the HTML pages to much smaller text versions, while saving selected links and references in each post, but I haven't played with them for a few months.

Still, when someone says "I seem to remember a post on the old board......",  I do a search and try to find it.

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.
