Re: ColdAir-Intake Question on model differences Reply #1 – June 05, 2005, 08:50:28 PM well, the pics arnt always of the items theyre sellingbut the non-mass air intakes have tubes that are a little longer, so theres no space for the mass air flow meter, where as the mass air intakes have it set where one tube connects to the MAF inlet, and one connects to the outlet Quote Selected

Re: ColdAir-Intake Question on model differences Reply #3 – June 06, 2005, 07:27:55 AM Im just confused about the fact that the one from 89-93 is just missing (87-88) wats the big difference?Possibily those kits are just the tubing, with the MAF sensor missing? And the 87-93 is the complete housing with the MAF sensor replaced by more tubing to take its place. Its rather odd when searching. Quote Selected
Re: ColdAir-Intake Question on model differences Reply #4 – June 06, 2005, 09:06:56 AM the "proper" cold airs, such as like Mac, BBK etc have longer tubing, so the MAF has no place basically, the ebay ones might have a tube to replace the MAF, i have no idea Quote Selected
