Thank you for the list of tips&tricks! Finally I took the gauge cluster from my T-bird out :) I've replaced one bulb (from the temp gauge), checked the other bulbs and it seems that my T-bird doesn't have a set of additional idiot lights! I'm still wondering why the seatbelt bulb doesn't come up, and why the chime (buzzer) doesn't make the sound?

Could be the switch in the driver's seat belt buckle - a lot of people disconnect that switch, other times it simply goes bad

The seatbelt light doesn't work. The "key buzzer" (chime) doesn't work either. Is there a separate chime module?

The key chime is fed from fuse #8(15A), to the door switch, on to the chime via a red/pink wire. It exits the chime module on a black/pink wire that is grounded by the key in the ign lock.

If none of the chime functions operate(lights on, seatbelt lamp, key) check fuse #18(10A) & #6(20A), as they supply power to the chime module.

Also the chime module is mounted directly above the fuse panel, has nine wires feeding it....

Good luck...

I looked at chime module and all the wires are connected. Thought I'd give up and leave the buzzer and additional idiot lights alone, but than I found something! A big white flat plug (like 1/2 of gauge plugs thickness) with around 5-10 pins (don't remember now) that's laynig around under the steering column on the bottom cover of the dashboard, about 10 inch. from the fuses box toward the firewall. What is this plug for?

Dunno.... A picture and color of wires would help......
