ported head

Is this head TOO ported? I've never seen a 2.3 that is this ported.

That appears to be an oval port head, not a dport. It certainly didn't start life on an 88 TC. IIRC, there's not enough meat in a Dport head to take the port entrance out that far, nor would you want to.
88 TC 5speed, 168000+ miles, stock 2.3T long block, ported RFE6 exhaust, Evergreen T3 running 15#'s.

the intake ports arent even consistent... Id be leary  about it.
