dies when idling June 02, 2005, 02:56:46 PM The car is a 1986 Cougar with 3.8 TBI. A progression of problems involving stalling has been occurring and getting worse and now when the car is just idling, couple of minutes, and before the car is up to normal operating temperature the car dies and will not start for a while.
