As far as ugly.... I do take exception to that... What about the later 70s??? Most of those are just plain FUGLY. Was at a car show a few years ago and there wsa a guy talking about how great his '73 Torino was(first year with the BIG snow plow bumper). Turned to one of my buddies and said, yea cars like that are why I bought my '69 Cobra Jet in '73.As far as owning cars of my youth I'd like to have a '57 Ford 2dr sedan, or a '63-'64 Galaxie fastback(had two '64s). Take any other 1983 mid-size car and put it next to a T-bird and you can clearly see the advantages of Aero design. Dog's? Sure... that goes without saying. That's what I'd like to get a number on. Seeing Tom post on here made me think of it, because he's owned about 40 billion of 'em. I know I've owned 4 fox cars, 3 of them T-birds/Cougar.
