I'd love to be sub-3000 but I'm thinking V8Demon's guess is going to be close.

2960# is my guess since you didn't say if you sed the sound deadener off the floor(40#) and sounds like stock suspension.  My bird with coilovers and no interior, two corbeu seats and some removed metal, removed bumpers and some other stuff was 2820 on scca scales.  Local truck scales can be hit or miss.  The place I went originally right after I got my car roadworthy weighed in at 2730# which really shocked me!  I didn't think there was any way it could be that light.

88 t-bird tc - 14.97 @ 90  IHI 18 psi + k+n filter...so far - NOW HX-35 @25psi - 12.75@112    348rwhp/395rwtq
78 F-150 - 11.61@120 on 175shot N20 - 12.55@110 on motor - 5200# race weight:hick:

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.

Wow, I was guessing it would be under 3000?  What do I know, though.

I did forget he has a 4 eye, those tend to be much lighter. It was probably 3200lbs before removing things, vs 3400lbs I would guess for a 87-88.

Back from the scales!  I ended up weighing it with the back seats in because I took my buddy and my son with me.  I had a quarter tank of gas, jack, and full sized spare (10 hole.)  I have sed the sound deadener from the trunk only.

2920!

. I think Fordguy545 wins that one.  After seeing the car, I figured you had to have lost at least 500 Lbs out of it.
