Yeh...again.

Was on my way home work last night...of course the roads are slick as the cylinder wall of a 2 stroke, and I'm farting along about 45 mph...almost home, when I see headlights fast approaching from the rear. I'm nearly to my town's turn off, when this asshole behind me flicks his brights on and off and on, repeatedly.

Not only was he driving 65-70, if not more-so, but blinding me with his  airplane landing lights. I'm not keen on the whole road rage thing, but ed if I didn't pull out of my turn and bright his ass. I sat there in the middle of the junction with my high beams on him/her until the car disappeared over the hill.

F*ckin' fools. I hate idiots that don't drive responsibly in adverse weather...much less smartasses.

It was really slick, even the truckers were soft-peddling it. In fact, most of them were heading into wal mart to wait it out when I left town.

Anywho...it's my yearly rant about people who drive like idiots in snow and slick....I don't care if you want to go roll your Yukon Denali because you feel the need to drive 75 in 2 inches of snow....but I do give 3 fat shiznits about your potentially depriving my kids of a father. When it's slick, SLOW DOWN. :beatyoass:

Morons! Last year we had the most snow I've ever seen. We got 12 to 18 inches. At the time I lived in an apartment and there were a couple inches of ice in the parking lot and the morons that live around here were getting stuck in the lot with suvs and pickups. I went out and cleared the snow off my cougar and drove right out he of the lot passing the idiots. It was great to see there faces as I drove by.

Yeah, first winter I had my 87 brd, it snowed about 12" and then about 6" more the next night. I didn't have anywhere to go so I let it sit through both storms. Next morning I spent 20 minutes sing all the ice off, then started the car to warm it up, went and got the kid strapped in, pulled right out. While the guy with a tahoe is digging his suv out with a shovel. Guy was always talking about how good his 4 wheel drive was and how I should upgrade.

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.

People who drive like that in bad weather cause me to go into loud screaming fits of profanity....funny, like they would be able to hear me. 4wd may help them go, but does not help them stop.

But she gets real bad mileage for sure . But who cares.

agreed.. my bronco was awesome in the snow, but it was a mud truck and my daily driver for about 3 years.. she got about 10mpg but i loved the power the 302 threw down and the roar of the 38's going down the highway.. she wasn't much for appearance, but she did her job and served her main purpose better than anything.. mud! i need to finish my F150 so i can sell it and buy another 80-86 bronco.. i think about it every day, and i miss it ;(

Slow down, but STOP HITTING THE BRAKES! I hate following some slow-ass retard who keeps punching the brakes even though there's nobody in front of them, and nothing around. I also hate those who don't understand the need for momentum when climbing large icy hills. Get moving, or get stuck in the middle of the hill...
