Any GM techs in the house?

I'm trying to find out if I can buy a key fob and program it to work on my Buick, but I don't know how to tell if it has a keyless entry module.  Thanks in advance!

google might be your best friend with this.  type in exactly what you want to do, year make model and directions in how to do so.  learned many things from google search

there should be SOMETHING on the car, somewhere that'll tell you whether it has it or not..

You'd think our resident LS* GM nut swinger would have had this handled.

Yep, the Buick part is the issue.  I joined some Buick forums a while ago and as you can imagine, not too many of farts post on the forums.  It pretty much only has any activity in the Road Master section.

Too much?

A key fob for a buick clearly relates to LSX motors...

Op Call your local gm dealer with the vin, they will be able to tell you if you have keyless entry

But then again id probably hate anything GM if i spent all that time and money swapping a 6 speed and FRPP crate motor in my mustang and still not make any power

Thanks for the helpful posts.  Please take your childish issues elsewhere.  If you have nothing useful to add to my thread, do not post in it.

I'll gladly discuss all the dynamics of my project car when you tell me what ya got and how much you have into it. I'll then draw the line between the 2 and show you how insignificant and irrelevant you or your opinion are to any of it.
