Old member new Bird - 87 LX 5.0

Hey guys. Been a while since I've been here since I've been moving quite a few cars in and out, raising family, and working on some new ventures. I decided I just don't have time for project-type stuff these days so I sold all my labor intensive cars and now have a really clean low mileage Mark VIII and yesterday I just drove this guy over the sierras from sacramento, CA and back home to Northern Nevada. It's got 87K original and man is it clean. Nothing too exciting performance wise, it's a 5.0L LX, but I can't stop admiring how original the thing is. It's all there and NOTHING is screwed up on the car. The interior is immaculate and I just dig the paint.X

Thanks guys, I knew you'd all care... no one else does. That's OK, that's why they are bargains. I'll get some some more shots. It's light blue on top, navy underneath. The only bug it's got right now is when the headlights are turned on, the instrument panel light(s) shuts off.

These cars had to be head turners when they came out, there really wasn't anything else this nice looking back then!

Nice :).

I'd love a tue-tone blue T-bird. It would go very nicely with my tue-tone silver and gray LX.

So the top color is the same color as my whole car. Our interior could be identical. I will be watching what you do very closely since our birds are so similar. Wish I had those wheels instead of dorky hubcaps.

Does it have leather or the fancy LX cloth seats?
