1988 tc

I just bought this tc for 900 buck today. It needs some love. It got so wiring problems. Some one cut the wires for one of the fans and wired it to a switch so now I need to put it back to stock and figure out what is wrong if anything. Some one also cut a hole in the IC and put a blow off valve in it. At lest I have a spare stock one to put in its place. I think I will be needing a fuse block. One of the spots for a fuse is melted.
Well more pics to come if it before I start any more work.

Here is a pic of a blow off valve some one put on the car. After taking it off and putting a stock intercooler back on it it starts up a lot faster and runs better.

Yeah, I'd been watching it for awhile myself...save it. Fix it, and enjoy it for years :)

Well looks like I found a few more things. One is this vacuum sensor. I need one and I need to know where it goes to. If I remember right it goes vacuum source to one side the out the other to the turbo. Is that right? I also looks like some one did the 3g alternator upgrade. But the amp meter does not work.

Bypass that BCS (Boost Control Solenoid).  Just use the gillis boost valve and DON'T reistall the BCS.

Will bypassing it make the check engine light come on?

Right now it is just bypassed. A vacuum line is going right to the waste gate. Any ways what does that gillis valve have to do with the BCS. What to you do leave the BCS plugged in and take the vacuum lines form it and put it gillis valve.

Ok well yesterday I started removing a bounch of very poorly done speaker wiring. They had used jumper cable wire for a amp power wire. They also had speaker wire, lamp cord wire, and regular strand wire to run all the speakers. It looked horrible with all this wire just laying allover the floor so it had to go. After removing it all the dash lights won't come on anymore.
