Speedometer lubing

What kind of lubricant do you guys use for the speedometer cable ?

My car is about to make a 2000 mile trip next month and the cable is a little noisy , I want to lube it so I don't go a little insane because of the noise .

I've used this stuff before, works pretty good and you don't need to use a whole lot of it so the tube lasts a while.
