Why??  Usually you see the reverse.  As far as trucks go the S-10 is a better performance platform than Rangers...easier to lower and better rear suspension.  I have a S-10 style set up under my 351W Ranger.
1988 T-Bird Sport Coupe--5.0 HO, MAF swap, 1-5/8" shorties, BBK/Flowmaster exhaust, Explorer intake, 70mm Edelbrock TB, T5, B&M short throw, Centerforce clutch and PP, disc brake TC rear w/ 3.55's, TC front brakes, '98 Cobra springs, DIY SFC's, other misc .  14.05 @ 98mph with launching too low and shifting too high.

I feel the same way. I've had fords and chevys. I really don't have any brand loyalty, but just build one or the other.

same here.. i like fullsize ford trucks, ford cars, small (or midsize, whatever) GM trucks and pre 80's GM cars.. the sbf S10 i built was a joke that turned to seriousness too quickly and we actually followed through on it.. she gets driven everyday and i open the secondaries every time i drive it lol
