My 1988 t-bird v-8

Just got my car yesterday, took it for a ride for awhile.

I'm working on some videos at the moment.
Me and my neighbor is going to do more work on it, like that bumper and the dash lights.

Welcome aboard. Nice looking car. Any performance mods planned for the future or leaving it mostly a stocker?

Mostly tan like.

Alright.....what's going on? nobody....I mean NOBODY does that to a dash board. I need some info. How old are you? Is this your first car? Are you angry with this car for some reason? If so, why are you angry? If not, it doesn't deserve this.

It was cracked and old. Why would I be angry at it? The Toyota I had deserved to be angry at.
It wasn't my idea anyway. If you know of a way of fixing the cracks, let me know.

some of the stuff floating around on here and you guys burn him on the dash? Hell, joke or not, reminds me of the fake wood dash in my winnebago lol if it had been executed properly it would be a different look...

Better than the eyesore it probably was

without knowing what it was like before, its hard to know if its an improvement.

you've painted the front bar, but it looks like it was just slapped on.
not masked up or anything.

unless you're planning on painting the rest of it so wasn't concerned?

then the dash, can't even begin to understand why you'd do that.
if the contact/vinyl what ever it is is attached properly.. then it'd look reasonable, but all the creases and overlaps.... yeah.

just hard to tell if you're doing this for a laugh or not

Who cares? My first car I just ily spray painted the entire car black. No one said anything then.

Keep up on it. You can get a new dash from multipul places. Go to coolcats.net and they have a write up on replacing the dash.

Get a Coverlay dash cap for it, that's what I'm gonna do for mine. Mine is covered in cracks, and I'd still rather leave it like that than put on that vinyl wood stuff like you did. :giggle:

The reason for the hostility over that shiznitty shaging dash...abortion is that it's horrible, and most of us will agree a cracked dash is better than that... disaster you've concocted.

What's next...a shopping cart wing, neons, and the stupid light-up shifter?
