Call me crazy - but I think these would look good on my 88 Cougar.  I'm looking for opinions.  Can I get them to fit with a 5 lug conversion?

I was also thinking about XR7 wheels and have them painted the same color as the car - Cinnabar.  Thoughts?
Thanks!!

If you want crown vic wheels, then go to the pick n pull, get 'em cheaper, and clean/repaint yourself.
I wouldn't pay that much for a set of (in my opinion) so-so looking wheels....

And yes, the 5 lug conversion will be needed to fit those...remember to check backspacing...some years of 'Vics ('08 and up) had quite a difference as opposed to earlier years...

You can also find a similar wheel from a Mark VII Lincoln, and the back spacing would be great....although the 5 lug conversion needs to be done.

Oh, by the way, I'll say it.......You're crazy. Look around. Better looking wheels are everywhere.

I had two different sets of cobra R wheels (chrome and silver), and although I see them a lot, I think they look great, can be had for a decent price, and look better on our cars than Mustangs. Just go to Ebay and type in "Mustang wheels" and look at all the options, and some are really cheap. I have 10th Anniversary Cobra R wheels on the Sport. 4 lug.

i have a set of those crown vic / grand marquis wheels (pictured in the link on the original post) from a 1994.    They need to be thoroughly cleaned and a coat of paint.  That's what Midwest Wheels does.  They refurbish them.  You can have them if you want to pay the shipping.  They will be available in about a month.    I just ordered new aftermarket rims for my 1994 Lincoln (Granny Car).    I don't have center caps.....but they are all over ebay.    As far as my opinion on how they would look,  I would have to photoshop them onto a cougar/tbird to figure out how I feel about it.

I've got a set of Mark VII wheels on mine..the finned, turbine-style....not quite the look I'd hoped for. Tax time I believe I'll get some new wheels.

Well, one of his cars has or had my old white header panel on it with the body color grille...but unless his gt500 wheeled-car is satin black, then mine won't be his twinkie lol.

Mine's not painted yet, but it will be this winter...only going with satin black cause I don't know what else to put on it, and I'm a cheap sumbitch, lol.

Where the hell is Carpimp these days? Anybody hear from him lately?

No wheels at this time for me. Just need two new back tires. This is the longest I've gone without swapping wheels.
