87-thunderbird

well its not for sale yet, but i am trying to see how much you all think I can get out of it, its an 87 bird just repainted a few very small hardly noticeable chips in it, it had a 3.8l and i swapped it out with a 5.0l 78 t-bird computer = sensors and actuators, its still non ho, but i have 18lb injectors 14:10 post gears (waiting to drop that turbo coup rear end on) i have 2 other computers one for an ho mustang and one from an mark7, there are no emission control items on the car except the egr, i have a hand made exhaust on it witch stops before the rear end, i ported and polished the intake (upper and lower manifolds and cylinder heads, engine is rebuilt from cam up (didn’t touch bottom end cause it appeared to be in good condition. i brought it to the track once and it ran a very consistent 15.5 and the car's rt was very solid it was roughly around .2 seconds. the work that it needs to be a true racer is a full suspension up grade including sway bars there are non on atm, but if you drop the turbo coup rear end on you will have on there and i also have the front, i would recommend trading every sensor and computer with a 93 mustang ho maf system (i also have an ho cam shaft that i believe to be after market) and it should get you somewhere in the low 14 range w/o any mods to the car, i also put a b&m floor shifter in it. her are pictures of the swap and finished product. http://public.fotki.com/jackthepumpkin/87_t_bird/
