I GRADUATED high school in 1968...
My mom was only 11 when you graduated, and shes friggin old!

1985 was a good year  :D only ever owned two vehicles younger than me and the oldest one is still younger than some of you guys :p

Used to watch junkyard wars religiously back in the day when it first came out but havnt had tv in my house for over a year now. I went out to my moms and watched a couple hours of tv last night, it was horrible, laughable, I swear its getting worse, that'll keep me away from tv for a couple more months again :yuck:

Started jr high in '92. :D

TV series' I am now hooked on, due to DVD rentals:

1-Dead like Me, best show on Telly in AGES! Still waiting for Season II to hit Rogers.  HBO

2-Buffy, I've pretty much seen them all, but we have season one, and we'll buy II somewhere along the line. I can only find Angel Season II on DVD right now.

3-Alias, yer  right! We just started watching season II today. :D

4-Carnivalle, another HBO masterpiece.

5- (and the only true evil in here) Roswell, we finished season I this morning. This show is the X Files meets Dawsons Creek, just with really bad background music. There's no telling when they'll switch to elevator music next. No, no. Buddy, put the Sax away. No one wants to see that.

Other than that, we never miss Survivor, and try to catch Medium, Gilmore Girls (that one's ALL the wife), and Joan of Arcadia (I hope they can get their second season). Revelations was an............... interesting mini series. Anyone notice the huge influx of Christian based television and film since The Passion came out? Not that I'm complaining. It's nice for the faith to get some positive press for once. Just to bad it had to be a trend, you know. I wonder if we'll have an anti-90's and get a bunch of trendy Nuns now, like the trendy witches of a decade ago.

I need to spend more time in the garage.

:grinno: ok,, ill cooperate

On wed nights at 7:45, i will systematically walk about the house to unplug all the phone.  the dinner plates are filled and we all retire to watch lost.  Nobody better think about interrupting this event.

another one...
I cant wait to tune into NPR news on the radio while driving

I cant put my laundry away so it piles up by my dresser

I love plants,,, tiger lilly is my favorite

I cant stand to see someone kill a bug for no reason.  Ill also help a bug get out of a puddle of water if its stuck.

I cant stand the feel of cotton balls, eeewww,, Thesy squeek when you moosh them and give me terrrible goose bumps.

i cant stand to have dry dirt on my hands,, goose bumps again.  I get dirty all the time but i just cant stand that dry dirt thing.

when i cook,, i have to contantly wash my hands when i touch anything outside of the actual food.

I enjoy learning from the older generation the simple things that seem to have gotten lost in the technology age.

Just to help prove that i'm a bigger nerd than i'll ever admit  :giggle: !!

1-Dead Like Me -Showtime (just a fill in correction)
2-I own every season on dvd of both Angel and Buffy The Vampire Slayer. (Let's see 45 x 12 =.... 5hun.... way to much money!!!!)
3-I own the first 3 seasons and am impaitently wait for the season finale and release of the 4th.

Now onto the others! I own all the South Parks released to date, all the Family Guys, half the Futurama's, and 1 of the Simpsons. I also picked up the Uber Matrix set (the one with what my boss calls a doll), and have gotten all of the Lord of The Rings collector gift sets (again with the dolls!!)for the corresponding christmas's they were released! Oh, I think it's safe to say that i'm a Lost junkie myself, i'll prolly buy that when it comes out too! But the thing that makes all of this sound even better to most people is that even though I own all these series, i've only watched maybe 10 episodes out of the entire collection    :giggle: !!!!! They usually just sit and collect dust all day!!!

Nuthin on TV that I watch on a regular basis anymore.  I'm even more picky than Bird351....

If it isn't on Discovery, TLC, History Channel, Science Channel, Travel Channel, or HGTV, I probably don't watch it.
For me you can take HGTV off the list :p
I AM a big Family Guy fan, but I have to be honest.  I don't think the new episodes are living up to the old ones.  American Dad seems to be better written these days.  Oh yeah, Futurama rules too!

I've got all of the Simpsons episodes so far released on DVD (five seasons), all Futurama (four seasons), all Family Guy (three seasons, two voumes), and some shag and the City (season one, two and six).

I rather like the new Family Guy episodes - the first one was hilarious and the others were great. I can guarantee when these issues show up on DVD I will own them as well. I'd like to see a bit more of Stewie though...

As for American Dad: It's growing on me. Didn't like it much at all at the start, but it's slowly finding its way into my heart - I'm even starting to like the gay alien character (it was classic when he was on the phone and, talking about the mother of the family, said "She's starting to act like a real Catch U Next Tuesday").

One of my all time favourite shows was Duckman. I wish you could get that on DVD, or at  least that it was still on in syndication...

Exactly my point.  Stewie and Brian were cutting edge caracters and the writing for them on the old episodes pushed the envelope.  I think now after the Janet Jackson Super Bowl Disaster networks are afraid to roll the dice like they did before.  Idon't think we're gonna see Stewie of old ever again.  Hopefully we do, but I have doubts.....

I don't think we'll have to wait long. Personally I think they're trying to give some of the other characters some good face time, due to the fact that stewie and brian have had a lot of face time already. I really don't think that Seth Macfarlane is gonna idlely stand by and let the standards and practices department censor him silent. It may be something of a moot point to do so, but look at the places South Park has gone. Granted I realize that this is a comparison between a cable network and public air network but when it comes down to it they have the same basic standards to follow. I think Seth takes cues from Matt Stone and Trey Parker, and I think that he's simply playing it light for the moment till he's sure he can start getting away with more. Give it time, don't lose faith!

I dunno, I'd say showing Peter get in bed with Chris and start feeling him up could be considered "pushing the envelope"...

It took three episodes before Quagmire, Cleveland and Joe came back - maybe MacFarlane's just re-establishing the characters...
