A little late, but I've reserved a room.

I dropped off the car to a body shop on Monday for a couple items.  It'll look a little different.

I liked your line in the Dream Engine thread, that your dream was to have four good connecting rods.  Hope it comes together for you, or you might have to drive the red car w/blue mirrors!

Still dont have the black cat up and running yet.  Should be SOOOON  I hope.

We will have the turbo car up and running still      If the engine gods are good to us.

Hope mother nature gets all this heat used up by then.

Nice to see the shots.

I am disappointed and agitated to announce I will be unable to attend the event.

Suffice it to say, I have been committed to obligations by my staff (unbeknown to me until yesterday) which make it impossible to take three days away.

I've been looking forward to this since we set the date last year.  It's great to be part of an annual get together with folks who actually know the difference between my car and a Turbo Coupe!

Getting the car ready has been a priority and I was hoping to 'reveal' some changes which have been in the works.

This is how it now looks after getting it back on Wednesday (after three weeks at the body shop).

The paint work looks great and while blending in the grill and hood, they took care of the "mechanics fenders" (you know the little dents you put in while bending over the engine bay) and 8 years of stone chips.

An additional bonus was the installation of 87/88 hood hinges (w/springs).  Those of you who have an 83-86 know what it takes to get the hood up and deal with a prop rod!  I'm still getting used to that...

I was hoping to enjoy the lack of wind leaks on the ride down, due to the NICE window seals I received from hcor early this week.

My apologies for the late notice and breaking a commitment.
