Do you still have the turbo coupe wheels? I just picked up my father's '86, it has the factory road wheels with the dummy lugs on the center cap. Dad said that a brain donor that worked for the local repair shop that's done his work for decades managed to "remove" one of the dummy lugs from one cap.
Anyway, I'm a little foggy on if turbo coupe wheels are fourteen or fifteen inch, I would like to know. The car still has decent tires on it, can't see replacing them if I don't have to. Thanks!  Mac McFarland      Say the word:  "THUNDERBIRD!"

I do still have a set of wheels. They are 16" wheels and 4 lug. They have tires on them with tread but do show dry rot from age.

man I hate you sguys some times. I just paid about $200 for a throttle body egr upper intake (94-95 style) and heads. The didnt even let me take the rods or any of the botls.
*edit* someone close should buy all of the parts off of him and then send them to other people on the boards. I would pay more then $100 for the e7's here. And that would be a good price. svopaul, I just decided that you might just be okay  :D

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.

I'd buy the stuff from him if I could, and resell it for a little extra car repair money.. but I don't have the cash to buy it off his hands in the first place, and even if I did, I don't have any way of getting it down here to FL cheaply.

Can't believe this fell to page 2 already.

Still got those DOAs for $25? I may have to find a way up there sometime soon.

I've met three people from the board via this thread and nobody has killed/molested me yet.
The internet isn't such a bad place after all.

I might see if I can rent a U-Haul and borrow a little money from the house re-fi and run up there one of these days. Otherwise it'll have to wait until I can figure out what job will take me in my current condition. (and what job I can do without running myself into the ground again)
