NEW USERS: How to post pics

Took me over an hour to track down these pics I made awhile back to attempt to better illustrate how to host a pic on the board. I figure, I'm not going through all that again, so I'll make a new thread for it now that I've found it. If it isn't sticky-worthy, I'll just link back to it every time someone asks how to do it.

EDIT: Restored images as of 8/27/06. Remind me next time they vanish, huh? :p (I don't check this thread very often)

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.

I don't understand what you are asking me to do, aside from the programs to use thing. (I use IrfanView and MS Paint to edit most stuff) I listed max file size already.

there should be a reference sub-section in this forum for newbies, and it should also include message board etiquette.

I thought the max file size was about 145k?

Try it. I don't know if it still is 95k.

I think it's stickyworthy as well, but I also think it'd be better in the "user rides" section, where people post pics of their cars. What do you think?

I think maybe in the dedicated help section, but that's just me. I bumped this because someone in For Sale.. needed it.

I think it should go in the user's ride section. Newbies tend not to look in the help section when needing help. Actually... where is the help section???

lol.

anytime ive posted pics,, its file size needed to be at or about 145k.  i would open my pic with a ms office pic program i have and adjust the *****SIZE**** only not touching the pixel arrangements at all.  Reducing the size and do a file save in .jpg form.  go look at the file and make sure the jpg file is smaller than 145k.
