Favorite Junkyard Now "Pick-N-Pull" February 21, 2011, 11:11:21 AM So after going through major upgrades and improvements this past year and a half, I head over to my Favorite local Junkyards website then get forwarded to a "Pick-N-Pull" website saying that they now own the yard.I hear you guys mention Pick-N-Pull alot, I assume alot of you have one near you.Do they run things good? Anything to expect or not to expect from them?Prices look about the same except more core charges, And I like the fact that they show prices for EVERYTHING online, except random things like the old one did. I would always have to ask and would still randomly get sticker shock at the register depending on who was checking me out. Quote Selected

Favorite Junkyard Now "Pick-N-Pull" Reply #2 – February 21, 2011, 12:29:27 PM Does pick and pull ever have any sales? The old owners NEVER did. They seem to be run by a global type thing as opposed to the small business it used to be. Quote Selected
Favorite Junkyard Now "Pick-N-Pull" Reply #3 – February 21, 2011, 02:53:44 PM The yard near me is a pick and pull. They are pretty good and the prices are reasonable. Every Wednesday used to be half off day but they stopped that about a year ago. Now they have daily and weekly specials. I like that the cars are up in the air instead of sitting in the mud. The ability to check what cars are in the yard is convenient as well. When a 83-88 T-bird or Cougar shows up I usually head to the yard to see if they have any parts worth pulling. Quote Selected

Favorite Junkyard Now "Pick-N-Pull" Reply #6 – February 21, 2011, 09:45:02 PM Last summer they had some 1/2 off deals for one or two weekends, of course, they had crushed the car I wanted, so no half off parts for me.. :( Quote Selected

Favorite Junkyard Now "Pick-N-Pull" Reply #8 – February 22, 2011, 03:15:15 AM Pick and pull around here, there just a s yard trying to gouge you. The people that run the yard know nothing about car part. I picked up a rubber isolator for a drive shaft for the mechanic at my work. Walked right up to the register and told them what it was. 10 minutes and several second opinions later, I was rung up for 3 feet of rubber moulding at 4.99 a foot. Quote Selected
