arent you the one who found tbird cpillar emblems and was trying to get them to light up?

Yup, that's me. My avatar is the successful results of one emblem. It was easy with that one because the inverter was still alive. All I really did was replace the electroluminescent sheet by ordering a new one and tpuppies it down to size. I wasn't expecting it to be blue, but I kinda like it. The inverter died on the other emblem, and although I want to try to build a circuit that will behave in the same manner as the original inverter, I simply lack money. Anyone who's tried to find a job in the past few years knows what I mean

3v dc input will prevent the emblems from blowing.
Its not an inverter circuit but a simple LED lighted background. The harness in the vehicle on the + side has an inline resistor stepping down the voltage to 3vdc.
Most computer power supplies has a 3vdc output.
just fyi,,
