Street performance struts for an 88 January 18, 2011, 06:48:38 PM I need to change the struts on the cougar soon and while looking at $100 just for stock replacements, I figured it might be worth a few extra bucks to get some performance struts. I'm not looking for anything to stiff, just somehting to keep the front end from bouncing up and down on every start and stop. I mean, I don't wanna ride like a rock but I don't want a boat either.I know a lot of you guys have done serious susp. work and just wondered what your thoughts were on a good set of street struts? I really don't wanna spend any more than $150 for a pair. Quote Selected

This car with new shocks, struts, and springs rides rougher than anything I have ever driven. I wish I would have put more thought into it back in the day... Quote Selected
