Help me Powder Coat my rims! Needs color suggestion? (pics inside)

Well, I spent some time looking at my car today while taking a break from working on my Mustang a decided the rims on my TC are whats killing the appearance. So at work we have a oven and Eastwood powder coat gun. Colors are endless and cheap but I am thinking something like....Gray (almost factory), I have a shiny-er Silver color, of course black, even could do the face of the rims silver/gray and then do the recessed parts of the rim black (would show less dirt and be easy to keep clean). Tell me what you guys think.

Easy on the 4x4 comments! lol I plan to lower it some.

Black snow flakes sucks !!! Black wheels on almost anything suck. Black hides all of the wheels detail. If you aren't keeping the natural aluminum look,go with something close,ar maybe just a tiny shade darker. Matching them to the car would be a sandalwood overload.

i've never been a fan of the snowflakes, but they look good when painted/powdercoated silver with gunmetal on the sides of the 'spokes' (where they look greyish now)

Yeah I dont much like the snowflakes either, I took my 16" Cobra R's and put on there and they look awkward on there for some reason. Plus I just put new tires on the snowflakes.

So you guys are thinking lighter factory looking color on the face with a darker shade on the recessed parts?

not sure if I have the actual gunmetal color thats why I said just a darker color. I think that would look the best though.

I might go to the junkyard and see if I can find a wheel to practice on like a 10 hole or something.

Too bad you can't do body color in the recesses, leave the surface bare, and just clear the whole thing.

I agree.  I hate hate hate black wheels!  I would be careful with the sandlewood color.  I think the wrong color combo could look pretty awful.

Have them chromed or polished.  Now that would look sweet!

Factory finish on the face of the wheel and paint the recesses gunmetal or black.
