Best way to remove body side molding

I need to remove the body side molding off my sport and want to reuse it, How do I do it without bending it up ? Whats the best way to reattach it, 3M two sided tape?

I tried the search engine but this new one doesn't work near as well as the old one.

Thanks
Leon

Don't worry about bending the metal backing on the moulding.... You should pull it off the back of the moulding before you put it back on.....It will lay flat after the metal is gone.
Yes, 3m dbl sided moulding tape. the wider the better

Consider piano wire to slice the adhesive behind it.

I used the welding wire from a mig welder. Same idea, possibly already in your garage. :)
