My build sheet was impossible to retrieve once I found out where it was.  It turned into a c of removing teeny pieces of paper from between the metal....

That was my problem. But if i put them all together I can pretty much make out everything it says.

That's where a majority of them are from 87 and up... There's a thread about this somewhere.... might be a sticky by now
under the rear seat, and in the trunk are also other places they were put... Along with above the gas tank in a lot of earlier cars

Here's the thread you are probably thinking about.

If anyone has buildsheet info please add it to the thread listed.

There was another thread about build sheets where I posted a scan of mine. I can't find that thread.

My 83's build sheet was under the driver side carpet. I took the seat and carpet out to weld the floorpan and found it there. Here is a link to it full-size:

Sweet. I would say that's dead on with the exception of the clock and antenna. It had just the standard, non-power antenna. And it had an buttstuffog clock.

This post was from 5 years ago though, and that poor cougar is in fox-body heaven now. I sold it to a guy for $400. He said he wanted to fix it up with his son. Turns out, he was a liar. He drove it home, packed his belongings into the car and left his family, and junked the car to get his $400 back. It was a free u-haul I guess.

Well I dunno for sure but could be a std item(meaning not optional or a upgrade wasn't ordered) would not have a mark in box, as all would get the std version unless the build sheet stated differently... I'm 99% at least on the antenna...
