It would be very cool to be able to shock people by saying you have NOS on a T-bird, lol.  For the money you can beat nitrous and the power gains it gives.  Bang for the buck for sure, but it my case I'm afraid there would quite literally be a "bang" involved.

beware there are a lot of hidden cost to do a NOS setup right.  By the time your done buying the kit, bottle warmer, gauges, remote bottle opener, and not to meantion filling the bottle after every 5-7 runs it gets expensive.  Money would be better spent toward a head/cam/intake combo than NOS in my opinion.  I've been there and blew about $1000 on that  and after about a year I sold it all

If I punch the 88 from a stop it will go sideways. It gets pretty squirrely sliding around till it grabs. I still think it needs more power in the form of TW heads or a Kenne Bell blower:burnout:.

From a dead stop, first and second gear are just tire spin and the rear of the car sliding back and forth. I need stickier tires. I would love to get a supercharger one day.....we'll see what happens this year.

I'll post a new pic of the engine as soon as I can swap the valve covers over to a new set.

Why you say that, you want to spin in circles? I can probably burn my tires off ,it just sits there smoking.

hmm nice idea distributorless ignition BUT!

i'm not saying you did'nt know this i just figured i would remind you be for you fire up that motor with out the factory distributor.. ;)

you better get an distributorless ignition gear and shaft adapter or a modified factory distributor to run the oil pump. or it wont run for long ;)

and here was my '88 XR-7

basically stock at this point:

After converting the 306 (yes 306, .030" over 302) to HO specs. with ported E7's, E 303 and polished cobra intake. and much more....

and after I swapped in long tube headers and painted the polished intake....  it was a bugger trying to keep it shiny

alright its getting crowded in here. How about a little variety with a current pic:

This is what's know as a 3.8L v6. Yes, a V6. Not 4, or even 8 cylinders, but right in the middle with 6. Some of you guys might have only heard about this mythical engine, but believe me, it does exist. I have proof.:p
