When you get someone else to bid it up or you have a completely different account somehow and bid it up. I see it on ebay all the time. Countless auctions where reserve is met time and time again on the same vehicle only to be relisted due to 'non-paying bidder' yet no feedback is exchanged reflecting that. Also I see the shill bids ending in ...999 which is a losing bid meant to drive up the price. It's illegal in real auctions. I don't know about ebay. Quote Selected
