I stumbled across these today , this was my 84TC  after I was t-boned by a driver who chose to ignore a stop sign one Sunday morning
He hit me so hard that the roof buckled ,other wise I might have tried to fix it .

I apologize for the quality , but I have no scanner

Ok, I'll say it again.  I just commented about another car that washiznit in the exact same spot (and I almost got clocked on the way home yesterday).  Why do fox cats/birds attract impacts in right behind the pass door?
My car is a gravity hybrid.  The gasoline engine gets me up the hills, and gravity gets me down.

I dunno , I never saw the guy coming , it was a 4 way intersection but only 2 stop signs. I had the right of way and I was going about 25-30mph and the next thing I knew I was facing the wrong way and my car was bent .

That sucks dude. Reminds me of what happened to my first 20th Cougar, except that's what the flare-side F-150 looked like after I T-boned him at 50MPH when he tried to cut me off and turn into a 7-11 gas station. Sad day it was. Looked like that was a nice TC.

The paint was faded but the car only had 68k on it when it washiznit ,the interior was flawless
I traded an 84 Z28 even for it at my buddy's car lot

Dont ask why I owned a Camaro because I'm not sure myself  :rollin:

I'll be the first to man up and forgive you, sir. Even I fell to the dark side. But, sadly the dark side has taken better care of me than the home team :(

I owned an 86 Z28 and that was a fun ass car.  I loved the huge nose.  Hated the distributor in the back.  It was a fishtailing burnout machine. :burnout:

My Z28 was a 305 4BBL automatic car and it was horribly slow .

It was however a nice car , I bought it from my then  girlfriend's brother .
His ex had over heated it and cracked the heads , the mechanic who was supposed to be fixing it tried put on 69 350 heads on it and couldnt figure out how to make it run or bolt up all the accessories
Said mechanic then tried to buy the car for $600 saying  "it's in worse shape than I thought it needs a whole new engine "

I offered the owner $700 to NOT sell it to the incompetent dude
I fixed it and drove it for about a year .

I have to admit It had a "Ford Motorsport" front plate on it while it was mine

Yikes!!!

BTW, Mine has been hit back there also~Just above the Rear wheel opening. Was like that since I got it, I still need to finish pounding it/pulling it out.

Nothing compared to those pics though. Geez.

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.

Here's a couple pics of my beater I had. Not bad for $300. I kept it for a year then traded it for an 85 Bird.
