Just some pics of some cool cars I have driving around by my house...

I recently got a new "smart" phone with all the bells and whistles.  I wasn't necessarily wanting one, but my wife did and they had a buy one get one free sale so I got one also.  My old phone didn't have a camera (yeah it mean old) so I now use the camera to take pics of the cars I see driving around.  I don't drive much but live in a pretty nice part of town and have managed to capture some pretty neat cars.  Here are some of the ones I have managed to catch within about a mile of my house.

Feel free to post pictures of cool cars you have seen driving around here.

Black Nissan GT-R

Ford GT

ZR1 at Walmart

Foxbody Saleen
1986 Mercury Cougar - 2.3T/T5 swap, TC brakes and suspension and rearend, 3" exhaust, 255 lph fuel pump, Stinger BOV, Gillis MBC @ 18 psi
2003 Chevy Suburban Z71 - Daily driver
2015 Chevy Volt - Wife's daily driver

Every pic I put on this site is from a cell phone. I don't even own a camera other than that. It does take great pictures though, 3 mp and the color is amazing. I always have to scale down my pictures when I put them on the site. Here's some I caught around my area. In full size glory. Most of these were moving, inside the car blurry pics, except for that beautiful shot of that red galaxie.

Cool 85 at AZ with headlight covers. Never seen that car again.

too bad it was dark when I got this pic of a really nice galaxie

passed this old cougar on a rollback one day. nasty rainy dark day.

and this beautiful galaxie. I still haven't seen this car again.

That Ford GT is pretty cool. I've never seen one in person.

I saw a ford gt on a ramp when I was driving the old neon. he was doing 25mph around it in the rain. When it got straight, I passed him when he merged left a lane, then when I went to look in the mirror to see it again it was gone. Was prolly doing 100mph, the wife who was watching it said he gave me a thumbs up. I'm not sure if thats good or bad, I was driving a neon. I can't believe how small and short a ford gt really is.

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.

When I was in college at Purdue, the engineering students had some sort of "fair" where auto manufacturers brought some of their upcoming vehicles down and put on a show.

I saw a Ford GT before they really even came out.  They are awesome vehicles.  Even the interior is amazing.

I also saw a Dodge pickup with the Viper V10 and 6 spd before they hit the streets.

I'm lead to believe they only see their Thunderbirds and Cougars as a means to get from A to B

Who, besides us, would invest $4,000 in a $2,500 car that the insurance company MIGHT give us $1,500 for should it get totaled?
If worms had daggers, birds wouldn't f**k with 'em
