Oh stock engine bay how I hate you!

Man it really sucks changing plugs in the stock engine bay. I guess I spoiled myself over the years with my lack of a/c and 8,000 stupid extra emissions parts. I need to put a warning on that thing!

it could be worse.. it could be an SC and have to work around the intercooler plumping on the driver side :D

Well the challenge was to get it done while the baby was asleep (which I did). The small hands help, but the lack of reach sucks! I have to get in the engine bay or stand on something next to the car to reach the back...

If you remove the Thermactor piping the passenger side becomes really easy:D

Which is why I said I was spoiled by my old engine bay ;) What emissions controls? I'd just pop the cai outta the way and it was cake!

I tweaked my shoulder though which is not cool. I'm not old enough to have such horrible joints!

Even with the CAI,there's a lot of room on the Sport, but, she loves me,so,she's probably helping me a little.LOL

....and yes,you are too young for those issues. You'd better start taking some supplements.

My wife's '99 Blazer w/ 4.3 and all bells and whistles was the biggest PITA to change plugs on.  So on the grander scheme of things, be happy it was a Ford. :)
