Got JC Whitney? August 10, 2010, 06:10:52 PM I would love to buy this car and rip off all the this moron has pasted all over it (while still sitting in his driveway). Gosh this poor car...Some people make me want to http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/THUNDERBIRD-/300454424348?pt=US_Cars_Trucks Quote Selected
Got JC Whitney? Reply #1 – August 10, 2010, 06:16:31 PM Other than all the stickers it seems to be a nice car. I like the hood scoops, gives it a sinister look. Wonder what the reserve is? Quote Selected
Got JC Whitney? Reply #2 – August 10, 2010, 06:36:58 PM Oh yeah it looks to be a nice car...but all the stick on needs to go (including the hood scoops, imho). Quote Selected
Got JC Whitney? Reply #3 – August 10, 2010, 07:33:25 PM Looks like it's come straight from Mexico Quote Selected
Got JC Whitney? Reply #4 – August 10, 2010, 08:09:42 PM Yeah, it's a nice four-eye, aside from the stick-ons. Looks nice and clean under the hood. Could be much, much worse:http://halifax.kijiji.ca/c-cars-vehicles-classic-cars-1985-Mercury-Cougar-Sedan-W0QQAdIdZ222829652 Quote Selected

Got JC Whitney? Reply #6 – August 10, 2010, 10:37:21 PM I'll say it again: aftermarket wheels that are not based on a factory design are ugly and make any car look tacky. Quote Selected

Think of the "torq-thrust" rip off wheels Ford put on the newer Mustangs. Sure they call 'em Bullitt wheels, but they are 100% borrowed design from the original torq-thrusts from the 60's.I will agree with you that there is something cool about putting newer OEM wheels on an older vehicle. I was just eyeing some gunmetal Bullitt wheels for sale on another forum and was thinking how cool it would be to convert to 5 lug and throw those on my T-bird. Quote Selected

Got JC Whitney? Reply #13 – August 11, 2010, 01:53:39 PM If someone buys it, they'd best take a tarp to cover the car until they can get into their garage unseen to remove the 73 pounds of bullshiznit slapped on that car. Isn't doing this shiznit to Honda bad enough, why they gotta go pick on OUR babies. s.Forgive me if I seem a little pissy...cause I am. :flip: Quote Selected
