Infomercials Nowadays...

*Seinfeld Voice*
What issss the deal?

I cant watch TV anymore without constantly seeing things such as "Booty Pop Panties", "Shake Weight" for Women AND Men or Extenze...

I swear this stuff is shown more than actual shows. :toilet:

I've heard about the Shake Weight commercials on The Daily Show and SNL. I thought they were fake until someone told me they were real commercials. I watch all my shows online now, so I miss out on these infomercials.

Then you and I have different opinions of funny because I think that commercial is hilarious.

If you get a DVR then you can just fast forward through the commercials.

i just dont think the commercial like that for gieco is considered funny.

Honest Abe is being asked by his overly short and rather fat wife,,,
"does this dress make me look fat"

honest abe hesitates and then just kinda says yes.

not sure about getting thrills at the expense of others, that reality tv for ya lately though.  seems like nothing anymore is funny unless it deals with the extreams.  like i say about most things,,,"im usually dead on and right when i say something, it just takes the rest of the world a little more time to come around to my way of thinking".  Call it an over inflated sense of self worth i might have  ,,or call it just plain common sense but poking fun at people over thier disparities isnt really all that funny.

people might eat too much and get fat,, so be it and its thier own fault.  People may not have the ability to control the wieght but still either way, its nothing we should train younger kids to think is funny,,-ie---- i first saw this commercial late at night then in the past month ive seen it during prime time. lots of things going on lately in the "kids" area lately so excuse me if im just on the look out for every little infraction.

I got my computer as a dedicated SageTV PVR server...3 grabber cards, 2 HD cable boxes, 1 direct cable line...All serving 2 stand alone Sagetv receiver units. Can grab 3 shows at once while watching another channel on another split cable signal.....And I still can't grab all the stuff I want. lol

LOL!! I'm a sales manager for a company that produces infomercials and buys the media. Mostly for car dealerships in Spanish. Its unbelievable what people will buy or sell. Sometimes its sad, like the SOB's who opened chop shop home modification scam outfits and burned 100,000's of people. (my company got burned too to the tune of 130,000 from modification  client).

Its fun when you produce a commercial that makes the phones ring off the hook and its for a product that actually works. Plus being surrounded by beautiful spokesmodels doesn't hurt either.

The one on the truck is from the scene in Reno 911 and the spoof of snakes on a plain, and the other one is famous for the Go Daddy commercial.
Keep watching and dont change that channel. LOL!!
