Fantabulous, zip-zoop-zabulous news today!

Some of you may remember last year when I started my diet and dropped 100 pounds. You may remember that my stated goal was to drop the wieght, get in shape, and join the RCMP. I did the first two and wrote the entrance exam for the RCMP back in December. I hadn't heard a thing from them and was actually seriously considering going to a private police academy instead, even though it would cost a lot more and only make me a "city" cop.

Well today it all started coming together. I got in the mail today a letter from RCMP recruiting: I've been accepted!!!!!

I've got to get a bunch of stuff done by Aug 6th, then wait 'til I hear back from them about the PARE test (Physical Aptitude Requirement Examination), then it's off to Regina, Saskatchewan for six months of RCMP boot camp. I'm gonna be a cop!!!:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

They're the folks Dudley Do-Right worked for. And his horse.

That's a lot of awesome, Carmen. Then again, now there's a local cop on the board. DOH! At least before I knew Demon's long arm couldn't reach.:hick:
