1988 Thunderbird = Subaru Outback? (strange slang, may not be NSFW)

Strange comparison, right? Well I draw this comparision based on the fact that I had my T-Bird to the city twice this week, and both times it was a big hit... with the lesbians.

The first time was at the drive through to the Subway a friend of mine works at. His co-worker (who is one of those girls who likes girls) saw the 'Bird and almost came through the drivethrough window to get a better look. I parked to eat and she came running out to go over the whole car, and all she could say was how much she loved it and how her girlfriend would really be into it because she likes old Fords.

Second time was when I brought it in to work, and a lesbian couple who are fairly regular customers came in. While I was working on their car (an old clapped out two-door Neon) I saw one walk over to my car and look inside, then the other walked over and they were gawking all over it. They came back in and were all excited about the 'Bird (insert "lesbians getting excited over a bird" jokes here). They even actually knew what it was. Actually, they thought it was a Turbo Coupe thanks to my TC sheetmetal and interior, and were quite impressed when I told them it was a 5.0 car. One said "You must have swapped that 5-speed in, they didn't come that way".

The other said "That car makes my south mouth salivate". I almost had kittens when she said that...

So anyway, there you go. The T-Bird is a hit with the ladies who like ladies. And here, at the risk of stereotyping, I thought they only liked old Subaru wagons...

My old '86 used to attract the under-aged girls, around here. And that's just the problem, while I keep getting older, jailbait stays the same danged age :(

(Note to self:  Scratch the Subaru Outback off the list)

As a lesbian trapped in a man's body, I'll accept this as inspiration to get my Tbird done.

 it, man.

Waaaiiiit a minute. We need pictures. I've got half a feeling that you're just screwing with us so come the next Cat Jam we don't have any lesbians swooning over our cars. It's the sole opinion of myself that you're SAYING they're butch-esque, but in all actuality they're of the lip stick variety.

The only problem with lesbians is that they're competing for the same thing we are.
