Must Have TC Parts?

Hi guys.  I was wondering...  If you bought a Sport Bird, in your opinion what are the must-have TC parts you'd you'd install on your Sport?

Would you replace the steering wheel, brakes, sway bars, & wheels?  What other parts from a TC would you consider to be must-have parts you'd install on your Sport?  Just curious?

Thanks for getting this thing started Hypo.  I thought I read where Vinnie, or someone else said the steering wheel in a Sport was also a must-swap out item, but I'm not sure. I think he said he liked TC steering wheels much better, because they are thicker, or something.

The TC wheel is nice , however it is all a matter of personal style .

I have an aftermarket leather wheel in my car, and I love it :D

Brakes, front bar (rear bars are the same) complete rear end, TC wheel, and if you're feeling froggy, the TC header panel.

Wheels too, unless you're running ten holes or turbines (14 inchers won't clear the big brakes.)

Yes,the steering wheel is a must. The Sport shares the TC sway bars. I would like to upgrade to TC brakes.. If you haven't,the differential as well, the front bumper cover and fog lights (I like to have to have the fog lights). After that,I'm not sure the TC has anything else I would need.

Yep. I have a Sport 5.8L and I have the TC headlight panel and lower bumper cover,TC fog lamps and switch, TC hood, TC front brakes, TC diff with 3:73 gears/disc brakes, TC proprotioning valve. The sway bar is the same size on the Sport front and the rear as the TC I stripped. Then door panels is another one too and yes, I swapped the TC steering wheel.

Thanks for the feedback guys.  At least I have a checklist to work on now.  The first part on your lists I'm gonna try to track down is a TC steering wheel (with cruise buttons).  I bought the Sport yesterday and on while I was driving it home last night, I found out really quick that I hate the thin steering wheel it came with.  I'm looking forward to swapping it out with one from a TC.

That's my plan. Take one forgotten and neglected TC, one spare 302 HO, two spare T3's, some time, and presto, fun machine.
88 TC 5speed, 168000+ miles, stock 2.3T long block, ported RFE6 exhaust, Evergreen T3 running 15#'s.
Up next: FMIC, fresh air intake, ported intakes, ported big valve head.

So if I start with a Sport, throw on TurboCoupe door badges, and the quoted stuff, will it be a TC? :hick::rollin:

Maybe it would be if you put a turbo on the engine.
