Ok i found this tbird and i wanna buy it reallly really bad!!! but the probelm is i'd have to sell my bird to buy this one... what do you think i should do??!!??

Be careful if you wont have the money until after you sell yours. That one is very nice for that price and it could go fast. Would really suck for it to sell while you are selling yours or right after and not make it to it in time. I'd try to come up with the money first somehow then sell your current one after you've got the other in your driveway so you don't accidentally end up birdless.

As well, you have to consider that it's already modified decently. While that is great for the car's performance you have to make sure that you don't mind missing the opportunity to take a nearly stock one and make it your own. Unless you wanted to take all the old stuff off and add new things, or swap the engine but then it wouldn't be as good of a deal either. It's all up to you and what you want to to do to it.

ok heres an idea. he is willing to take a trade. So offer your current car for a trade to see if he bites. Obviously he likes tbirds so you might just luck out and he will go for it.

This might could work...
He states that the main reason for getting rid of it is because his wife cant drive stick.
Yours is an Auto.
He also states he would trade it for a Nice Automatic.

He probably wouldn't go for a straight up trade because of all the upgrades on his (You never know?) but a Trade + Some Cash could go far.

What should i do?!!??

Saw that one awhile back...I'd probably avoid it myself. I think it has a lot of rust on it's bottom...

Regardless, if you go look it over...look at it really good.
There's a few threads if you search that will clue you in on places to look for problems, and rust-pr0ne areas.

I have to agree with Chuck. If you cant buy it without selling your car you probably shouldnt get it. Last thing you want to do bone yourself by selling your only transportation (it is isnt it?) and have the guy back out at the last minute after you sold your car.

eh yeah i was just waking up in the morning and didnt really think about.... I thought about it alot thru the day and i just decided that ill keep up the work on my current bird and THEN worry about whats next....
