and the crew who showed up (minus John who came with his 2nd 1986 convertable [think he said # 61 of 89])

Also, one intresting note, not only did the 3 of us who entered the judging win but also a 1976 cougar won. All the cougars entered in the show won a trophy.  :grinno:

Ah. Wicked. I knew my T-bird's colour was a stock Ford one, but I didn't know what car it came on.

Oh, and congrats, man. I happen to think yours is the nicest of the bunch.

I have a question, though. What's with buddy's green mirrors and spoiler with overspray?

The car is primered, that is the color that it will be when it's done. The green was sprayed on real fast and not clearcoated, he just wanted to give us a taste of the color. The color unfinished really grew on me and I really like it. He will also have pearl flames from the front that will be unaccented so you will only see them if you look and walk by. The top of the spoiler will have the logo I made for the TCCoSNY (in my sig pic) also ghosted in pearl on the top.

Ray's car is coming together quite nicely, and he is doing all the work himself to boot. Almost makes me want an mn-12. Here is the link to his cardomain site so you can see what he has done.

Also, thank you for your kind words.

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.
