I had to use the bucket/bracket assembly from my car since the one from the Lincoln was completely different. But the actual headlight itself is identical. Quote Selected

I just had to take the Lincoln's installation bracket off of the headlight and replace it with the one from the Cougar. I wish I had a picture to show you as it would make it easier to describe. Essentially it was the part that mounts the headlight to the header panel and allows it to be aimed correctly. Quote Selected
