That mod is an extremely difficult one - not for beginners at all! Custom manifolds, custom machining, and even tig welding an oil passage onto the head - Here's a tech article:

yeah...unless youre the uber fabricator...its a lot more work than most people can handle

Ya, too much work.

Hello! welcome to 2003! LOL
It's neat, but more work than most people are up for. I just sole an entire DOHC top end on eBay, head, intake and exhaust for $400.

I've seen this swap, and it's definately a 'some day' mod. I'm thinking when the TC becomes a classic, along with the custom paint, she'll have this project on the go. No time soon, though.

I think this swap in about a year will be alot easier than we all think because as soon as someone like stackz finishes his head, there will be a pattern for all the parts he had fabbed up. At least I hope he completes it soon. I have many more DOHC Volvo heads to move. He He He :D
