I would say probably semi-rare. My dads 83 turbo coupe was manual everything except mirrors. Thats pretty rare.

You need to snag those clear turn signal lamps... Those are 1983 only on this 1985-86 car. I am sure someone around here must want them as they are becoming harder to find.

The dash cluster trim panel, HVAC / radio trim panel and ashtray trim plate are also worth considering saving from this yard in case someone ever needs it.

I would also snag that buttstuffog clock. They are becoming rare as well. If it works then you have a valuable possession.

Crank windows are not that uncommon. Every once in a while I run across a car that has them. I just pulled a consolette trimplate from a car that had manual crank windows, no power seats and only a power mirror. The adhesive overlay trim only had the cutout for the power mirrow switch, but the bezel itself has the cutouts and provisions for mounting the switches. I will be using all virgin untapped screw posts!

Yeah we got a lof of snow which is weird. We actually have had more this year than Mass. I guess lol.

I would get those parts but I dont have the money to keep them. I may just buy them and put them on here for sale we'll see. I did grab the clock as I thought it was cool but ugh......lets just say it doesnt work anymore :disappoin

Whats with the V8 badges. If your implying about the heads and intakes dont worry i already grabbed one set of heads lol but every intake setup was gone and there were like 15 explorers/mountineers there.

With the Mustang dash swap I just did, I unfortunately will not be using the buttstuffog clock I found that works. Such a shame!

I've seen many 83-86 T-birds with crank windows. I've yet to personally see an 87-88 T-bird with crank windows.

I definitely like the idea of a Bird dash in a Fox Mustang! I think it suits the boxy Mustang lines much better than trying to swap a SN-95 dash in a Fox Mustang. I was never big on either of the Fox Mustang dashes but the one they used from 1987-2003 looks hideous to me now. It could have been a viable choice for my Tbird which would have been a much easier drop-in install if I liked that dash.

Honestly though, I am starting to like the original Fairmont based 1979 Mustang dash again, especially since I seen it done up nice on a black Faimont Futura with a gray-strobe basket handle quarter panel stripe. That Futura was modified with a 1983-86 midsize LTD nose and the complete array of 1985-86 Mustang GT gauges and the interesting gray blocks with allen head screw design dash trimplates set against a w red interior complete with Mustang GT seats and console. I also considered that dash as an option of I could not find a suitable replacement for my original 1984 cracker dash shell.  You can still get brand new dash parts for those Mustangs through Latemodel Restoration.com.

The Futura was always a favorite of mine. I had ideas long ago that the LTD nose would have been a great update to the Futura plus a great tie-in to the then new four-eyed Mustang nose. After the boxy 1980 Tbird came out I wish that Ford would have just saved themselves the cost and trouble of designing that very unsucessful Tbird. Ford already had designed the Futura which was in fact originally a downsized Tbird design proposal. I believe it would have been better accepted carrying over the much loved basket handle roofline of the very sucessful 1977-79 Tbird while acomplishing the goal of downsizing which was needed. To this day I still love the Futura Coupe more than the boxy 1980-82 Thunderbird.

Anyway the modified black Futura shows what that coupe body could have been but never was. That's what is so fun about the interchangability of so many Fox platform cars.
