As far as those wheels go and which ones to install, who cares? It's an Aerostar.

The aerostars have a bigger following than these t-birds and cougars we play with.
They are probably the best all around vehicle ever made, I have owned several and none had under 300k when we finally sold them. ,My last Aero...

When I worked at the Ford dealer from 85-91 we called them "edselstars"  they had mega problems when first introduced,  After a year or 2 they got them sorted out and they were better
Fox-less at the moment

Ours has been very Reliable for us, Only just lately has it been giving us a problem... BUT! it STILL drives and fights its way through it, lol.
(Tranny doesnt want to shift into 2nd unless you step up the speed up, and by that point its shifting into 3rd.)

And sarj: If you dig into it enough to get at the inner seatbelt recievers i would be interested, otherwise dont worry about it.

Your yard leaves batteries in?  Weird. Crank up a few of those engines!
My car is a gravity hybrid.  The gasoline engine gets me up the hills, and gravity gets me down.

I know the yards around here have a big fork lift, you just let them know you need a car picked up and they come out and do it. Usually there's wheels and tires you can stack that they'll set it on for you.

yeah at both my yards they have a big platform they set the cars on.

You just go find the guy with the giant forklift and tell him which one you want and they grab it(usually straight through the window glass and hold it by the roof:() and stick it up there

Wow...
The guys at our Junkyard don't even like to go out in the yard, or be bothered for that matter. :rollin:
