wheel restoration??

Serached for awhile and can not find the artical on exactly how to restore an old set of 10 holes. Does anyone have a working link?
  I Found something on Thundercats but the link is dead.

 Help please!

Thunderchicken's way is easier than mine. I restored a set of Snowflakes by had using 80, 120, 200, 300, 400, 600, 800, and 1000 grit sandpaper in that order. It takes 3-4 hours per wheel and your hands will be sore. Then you have to polish them with aluminum polish. I used Meguiar's mag and aluminum polish. They turned out pretty good ;)

88 Thunderbird LX: 306, Edelbrock Performer heads, Comp 266HR cam, Edelbrock Performer RPM intake, bunch of other stuff.

Wow they do look nice, well worth the time spent, I needed the steps for the OEM finish for my 86.
