Wanted 83 cruise unit

My cruise in my 83 doesn't work, and never has, heh. Now I have a need to drive it on a 26 hour trip, and working cruise would be nice.

I am looking to try to swap in the cruise unit that sits inside the driver side fender. Anybody have a known working one that they could sell me?

I don't know if they are year/engine specific, but mine is an 83 cougar with the 302.
