Chrome Power Mirror January 08, 2010, 03:51:05 PM I am looking for a Passenger side chrome power mirror for my '83 Thunderbird. Like a moron, I tried to shimmy between the car and the wall to plug in my battery tender, and busted off the mirror. I'm not in a real hurry, don't plan on having the car out again 'til April at the earliest. My zip is 44614 (for shipping purposes) Quote Selected

Chrome Power Mirror Reply #3 – January 09, 2010, 04:44:48 AM vinnie 87-88 mirrors will physically work but they dont look right as i beleive around the mounting bezel its different... 87-88 used flush mount glass and i think the mirrors have little wind splitters but 83-86 cougar mirrors will work for chrome and tbirds for painted Quote Selected

But then again, they are getting harder to come by, and I am not going to let that keep me from putting it on the road. How much are you looking to get for it? Quote Selected
Chrome Power Mirror Reply #5 – January 10, 2010, 10:27:37 AM KyleI wil get some pics in the next day or so for you. These are in very good shape. I bought them as extras for my sons Heritage figuring if I ever found someone who could rechrome plastic I could get a set done as a test without having the car tied up with no mirrors. Chrome Power Mirror Reply #6 – January 10, 2010, 11:33:44 AM Just went and brought them in from the garage and snapped a couple pics so here they are. They are dirty and dusty as they have been stored in my garage for about a year and a half. I didnt want to clean them up first as its about 8 degrees here right now and I didnt feel like standing in the garage. As far as a price goes, I tried giving away for free some parts before sping them and got no takers so if these are something you might have a interest in make me an offer and we will see how it goes. If you prefer to hold out for a better set, no worries I will just put them back in the garage. Quote Selected
Chrome Power Mirror Reply #7 – January 10, 2010, 10:21:12 PM Those are pretty much the condition I found mine in. I am pretty much realistic about not being able to find perfect new like parts. I am just thrilled I found a set that the chrome was not peeling and crackling... Quote Selected
